Important Information

  • Staff interviews take place during January and February. Though will continue to receive applications throughout the Spring until all of our summer positions are filled.
  • Training week is May 30, June 1-5, 2026
  • Camp runs June 8-July 17, 2026
  • Staff are required to work a special all families event on Saturday, July 18
  • Staff are off the week of June 29-July 3, 2026
  • Pay: $15-$20/hour based on position, experience, and responsibilities 
  • Please know that Parkview Kids Camp is a seasonal employment opportunity, so availability can impact if you are accepted.

What to Expect

  1. A member of our team reviews your application
  2. If we determine you are a candidate for a role at Parkview Kids Camp, a member of our team will contact you to schedule a 30 minute interview in person or over Zoom. We’ll go over the job requirements, get to know you, and give you a chance to ask any questions you might have about the role. You do not need to bring anything to your interview except any time off you’d like to request during the summer. 
  3. We will contact you shortly after your interview to let you know if you received a position for the summer. If you are accepted, you’ll receive a contract with the details regarding your employment
  4. That’s it! See you Training week!

Summer Staff Roles

Elementary Staff

Key Leader Training Saturday, June 1, 2025

An elementary counselor is expected to attend a training week from June 2-6, 2025 (including a Thursday PM training). The camp dates are from June 9 – July 18, 2025.  Work hours are approximately 8:30a – 4:30p, an average of 40 hours per week. Staff is permitted to miss one week, not including training week. However, know that Parkview Kids Camp is a seasonal employment opportunity and availability may impact your ability to get hired.

Staff will share the responsibility of filling any gaps in our extended care. This comes with overtime pay and will be assigned by the camp director during training week. Please Know that Parkview Kids Camp is a seasonal employment opportunity and availability may impact your ability to get hired.

Extended Care Staff

Extended Care Staff oversee Before & After Care for the Elementary Camp. They are responsible for ensuring the safety of kids who arrive before camp begins or stay late after camp has ended.

Extended care staff are expected to attend Monday-Wednesday of training week (June 1-3, 2026). You must be available to work four of the five weeks of extended care (June 8 – July 17, 2025). Work hours are approximately 8:15a–10:30a (AM Care and Registration) or 3:15-5:00p (PM Care). You’ll have the option to apply for one or both (preferred) spots.

Logisitics Coordinator

The Logistics Coordinator will help to execute the vision of Parkview Kids Campby working behind the scenes with our supply needs and providing direct support to our staff. This position serves to purchase and organize all of the supplies needed for camp.

Logistics Coordinator will attend staff training (June 2-6) but will also accumulate 5-10 hours in the month of May preparing for camp. It is a part-time, hybrid role requiring on site hours and some financial recording being able to be done remotely.
