Elementary interviews take place during January and February. We will continue to receive applications throughout the Spring until all of our summer positions are filled.
Training Week is June 2-6, 2025
Camp runs June 9 – July 18, 2025
Staff are off the week of June 30 – July 4
Pay: $14.50-$18.00 hourly
SUMMER STAFF INTERVIEWS
Once we receive your application a member from our team will reach out via email to set up a 30-minute interview (these can be on Zoom if you are not in the area). We’ll go over the job requirements, get to know you, and give you a chance to ask any questions you might have about the role. You do not need to bring anything to your interview except any time off you’d like to request during the summer. Please know that Parkview Kids Camp is a seasonal employment opportunity, so availability can impact if you are accepted.
Summer Staff Roles
Extended Care Staff
Extended Care Staff oversee Before & After Care for the Elementary Camp. They are responsible for ensuring the safety of kids who arrive before camp begins or stay late after camp has ended.
Extended care staff are expected to attend Monday-Wednesday of training week (June 2-4, 2025). You must be available to work four of the five weeks of extended care (June 9 – July 18, 2025). Work hours are approximately 7:15 – 10:30a (AM Care and Registration) or 3:15-5:30p (PM Care). You’ll have the option to apply for one or both (preferred) spots.
Elementary Staff
Key Leader Training Saturday, June 1, 2025
An elementary counselor is expected to attend a training week from June 2-6, 2025 (including a Thursday PM training). The camp dates are from June 9 – July 18, 2025. Work hours are approximately 8:30a – 4:30p, an average of 40 hours per week. Staff is permitted to miss one week, not including training week. However, know that Parkview Kids Camp is a seasonal employment opportunity and availability may impact your ability to get hired.
Applicants must be at least 16 by June 2, 2025.
Logisitics Coordinator
The Logistics Coordinator will help to execute the vision of Parkview Kids Campby working behind the scenes with our supply needs and providing direct support to our staff. This position serves to purchase and organize all of the supplies needed for camp.
Logistics Coordinator will attend staff training (June 2-6) but will also accumulate 5-10 hours in the month of May preparing for camp. It is a part-time, hybrid role requiring on site hours and some financial recording being able to be done remotely.
Program Director
Parkview Kids Camp Program Director helps execute the vision to create a fun, safe, and relational space for kids to learn to love God and love others. The program director will do this by helping plan camps and provide quality control to ensure the best possible experience for kids. This position provides leadership and supervision to the entire counselor team.
The Program Director will attend staff training (June 2-6) but will also accumulate 5-10 hours/month in April and May preparing for camp. It is a full-time time, season role.
